A humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, providing relief to the victims of disaster and helping people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. Additionally the ARC offers work force development heal thcare training programs for Certified Nurse Assistant, Home Health Aide,Acute Care, Phlebotomy, Electrocardiogram Technician and Medical Administration rocedures. 76 local residents were recipients of service this past year.

Offers our youth a wide variety of recreational, educational and cultural activities. Providing experiences which give kids opportunities for choice, individual achievement, development of self confidence, reinforcement of values and fun in a safe environment at the Marilyn & Gerald Fels clubhouse. There are 1,353 members of the Boy's & Girl's Club of Webster & Dudley.

Celebrating 100 years of service, the Boy Scouts have been bringing adventure & educational scouting activities to our youth fostering physical and emotional fitness, character development and citizenship. Our local membership topped 340 children & adults last year.

Offers aid and professional counseling for people of all faiths. This past year 1,240 Webster and Dudley residents reached out and accessed information and referral, Holiday programs, financial/material assistance, parenting classes, anger resolution training and more.

Providing school based oral health services to our community. Bringing dentists and hygienist to our schools to do screenings, cleanings, x-rays, molar sealants. Cavity restoration, when necessary is completed at the Judith Ruskin Oral Health Clinic at Webster Middle School.

Girl Scouting builds girls of coverage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own self worth. Locally 248 girls and 99 adult volunteers are involved in Girl Scouting.

Providing legal assistance for those who cannot afford it. Advocated on behalf of 109 clients in Webster and Dudley, plus support to other household members.

Literacy Volunteers of South Central Massachusetts . 508-765-3880
Committed to provide adults in our community free literacy assistance, and individualized tutoring in basic literacy and English for Speakers of Other Languages taught primarily by volunteer tutors.

Working to end family violence and make women and children safer and families stronger in our community. Providing a confidential emergency shelter, a 24 hour toll free crisis line 1-800-323-4673, counseling, legal advocacy and educational and prevention activities. This year 272 local residents reached out for help and support.

Saint Vincent DePaul Society . 508-943-3140
Located at Sacred Heart Parish in Webster, with over twenty years of local service, this volunteer organization provides aid to families and individuals in need. Help and financial support is given for food, rent, medication, utilities, clothing, transportation, Holiday meals and heating expenses. 1,922 individuals were serviced this past year.

Providing recreational, educational and leisure activities program development for adults who experience mental health challenges. Operating a residential home here in our community for adults in need of guidance and supervision. They were home to 40 residents this past year.

The CASA Project of Worcester County . 508-757-9877
Recruits, trains, and provides supervision and support of community volunteers who are appointed by a judge to serve as guardians ad litem for abused and neglected children in the court system. These advocates promote and protect the interests of children involved in judicial proceedings. This past year over 1,500 hours of advocacy was provided on behalf of children in need in our community.

Provides extensive in-home and community based support for people over the age of sixty and their families. Service and help extended to 1,553 Webster & Dudley residents this past year.

Your gift helps to fund summer camp scholarships for needy families at Camp Foskett in Charlton, where a variety of positive experiences and activities are offered. Last year 34 local children participated.

Visiting Nurses Association . 508-943-0612
Providing nursing care, therapy, rehabilitation services and training for the incapacitated. The area's home health agency for 97 years, our VNA served 660 Webster and Dudley residents last year, providing care to those in need each and everyday.
